Christopher Georgia is a professional wildlife camera operator, photographer, and educator based in southwest Montana and the founder of Wildscape Adventure, an instructional photography tour company specializing in wildlife, landscape, and astrophotography experiences in and around Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.

With years of field experience across the United States, Christopher’s work is rooted in patience, observation, and a deep understanding of the natural world. A dedicated freelance wildlife camera operator and motion control time-lapse specialist, he is best known for his long-lens wildlife cinematography and ability to capture fleeting moments of animal behavior with precision and restraint. His approach emphasizes understanding wildlife rather than pursuing spectacle, prioritizing behavior, light, timing, and positioning over chance encounters.

Christopher’s passion extends beyond wildlife alone. His work explores astrophotography, time-lapse, macro imagery, and the subtle transitions of seasonal change, often revealing quieter rhythms of the natural world that many overlook. Whether documenting a grizzly emerging at first light, stars moving silently across Yellowstone’s night sky, or the changing textures of a landscape between seasons, his work seeks to tell stories grounded in patience, atmosphere, and authenticity.

His professional career in natural history filmmaking has led to collaborations with major productions, broadcasters, and streaming platforms including BBC, Disney+, IMAX, National Geographic, Netflix, NBC, PBS, and Peacock, where his imagery has contributed to visual storytelling centered on wildlife, behavior, and the natural environment.

Between production assignments, Christopher shares his expertise through immersive, field-based photography experiences designed to help participants better understand both the technical and observational sides of photography. Through Wildscape Adventure, guests are taught not simply how to take a photograph, but how to anticipate moments, interpret wildlife behavior, work with changing weather and light, and develop a deeper appreciation for the landscapes and animals they encounter.

Based near Bozeman, Christopher continues to document the natural world while helping others slow down, observe more carefully, and form a stronger connection to wild places through photography and storytelling.
